Terms of use
These terms govern your use of Northmethod Quotes and its paid Pro features. By using the application, you agree to them.
The service
Northmethod Quotes is a browser-based tool for preparing quotes and estimates. It is not accounting, tax, legal, payment-processing, electronic-signature, or contract-management software. You are responsible for reviewing every document, calculation, tax rate, term, and recipient before relying on or sending it.
Local storage and backups
The application stores quote contents and settings in your browser. Northmethod Digital is not the custodian of those records and cannot recover them after browser data is deleted or a device is lost. You are responsible for downloading backups and retaining any records required for your business.
Free and Pro access
The core quote builder is offered without a subscription. A Pro purchase grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pro features for one business. You may not resell, publish, share, or bypass access credentials or use the product to operate a competing quote-builder service.
“Lifetime” or “one-time” access means access for the commercial life of the applicable Northmethod Quotes product, not a promise that the service will operate forever or without change. We may update, replace, or discontinue features, but will not intentionally convert a completed one-time purchase into a recurring charge.
Your content
You retain responsibility for and rights to the business information, client information, logos, and text you enter. You represent that you have permission to use that content and that it does not violate another person’s rights or applicable law.
Acceptable use
Do not use Northmethod Quotes for fraud, unlawful or deceptive offers, impersonation, malware distribution, infringement, or attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
Payments and support
Prices and payment terms are shown at checkout. If Pro does not unlock or function as described, contact hello@northmethoddigital.com. We will work to correct the problem and provide remedies where appropriate or required by law. Payment disputes, chargebacks, taxes, and refunds may also be governed by the checkout provider and applicable law.
Business results
Northmethod Quotes does not promise that a customer will accept a quote, that a document is legally binding, or that use of the application will produce revenue, savings, compliance, or any particular result.
Disclaimer and limitation
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Northmethod Digital is not liable for lost browser data, lost profits, missed opportunities, incorrect user-entered information, or indirect or consequential damages. To the extent permitted by law, total liability relating to a paid purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that purchase.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes apply prospectively and will be reflected by a revised effective date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protections that apply in your location are not excluded.
